Cartier designed the Pasha in the 1980s with a distinctive screw-down crown protector chained to the case — according to Cartier's own lore, the original 1930s commission came from the Pasha of Marrakesh, who wanted a dress watch waterproof enough to wear while swimming. This 40.5mm stainless steel reference keeps that chained crown cap intact alongside its black dial. The automatic movement carries a 42-hour power reserve, and the rounded case with screw-accented bezel gives it a family resemblance to the Santos without directly copying it.
